This ratio is typically used for measuring undervaluation/overvaluation of real estate prices, calculated by dividing the gross rental yield by 100 – so the higher the yield, the lower the price/rent ratio.

Statistics Sweden’s web-site is a treasure-trove of data, and each new approach the user makes seems to yield different housing time-series, both annual and quarterly, generated by the National Statistical Institute.
