Some of the neighborhoods to watch out for are in New Cairo. New Cairo is a part of the Beit Al Watan Project of the Ministry of Housing which provides 8,000 land plots (with sizes ranging from 300 to 800 sq m). New Cairo has currently the best rental yield returns which sit between 8.11% and 10.59%.

The city´s average rental yield is 6.71%, Cairo yields vary a lot depending on the district, and overall range from 3.00% to 10.29%.

Besides Cairo, the vacation city of Hurghada has the highest rental yields between 6.22% and 9.84%.

In Alexandria you can expect yields of 3.90% to 6.25%, Asyut yields range between 4.40% to 9.60%, Faiyum rental earning are between 3.09% to 3.77%, Port Said rental yields sit between 4.20% and 4.50%, and Damanhour yields are from 2.88% to 4.53%.
