Though there has been much discussion of whether Panama’s real estate market is overbuilt, or a mature market, actually, it is hard to see why its residential real estate market should be much at risk, based on our research. We find that Panama City has spectacular 9.94% average gross rental yields. Yields can reach as much as 11.62% for 85 square metre (sq. m.) units. These are excellent results, and suggest that the Panama boom still has time to run.
Panama City beachfront houses are priced at an average of US$1,340 sq. m., which is not expensive by international standards.
