INDIVIDUAL TAXATION

The Seychelles have territorial taxation, so only locally-sourced income is taxed.

INCOME TAX

Nonresident individuals are generally taxed at a flat rate of 15%.

RENTAL INCOME
Rental income on residential property earned by nonresident individuals is taxed at a flat rate of 15%. No deductions are allowed.

CAPITAL GAINS
There is no capital gains tax in the Seychelles.

PROPERTY TAX

There are no property taxes in the islands.

CORPORATE TAXATION

INCOME TAX

Income and capital gains earned by companies are subject to corporate income tax, which are levied at progressive rates. Taxable income is calculated as gross income less income-generating expenses.
