Rental income tax is low in Anguilla
INCOME TAX
There are no income taxes in Anguilla.
As a property owner who earns rental income you are only liable to pay property taxes levied on the value of improvements on the land at the nominal rate of 0.0175% of the assessed building value.
An annual fee for renting is required. The rate is EC$2,500 (US$926) for the first 200 sq. ft., EC$0.25 for each additional uncovered sq. ft. and EC$0.50 for each additional covered sq. ft..
If you rent to a tourist you will be required to collect 10% of the rent price as accommodation tax. This tax should be remitted monthly to the local government.
CAPITAL GAINS TAX
No capital gains tax is applicable.
