Properties in Berhampore Wellington

Berhampore was named after the Bengal town where the 1857 Indian Mutiny occurred. Many of its streets have Indian names as well.

Because of Berhampore’s wide price range of available properties—which has made it one of the top three places for property investment in New Zealand—the residents of the suburb are an ethnic and socio-economic mix. With business and employment opportunities in nearby Wellington, residents who move up the financial status ladder also have the chance to buy higher-priced real estate here.
