Prague 6 (a prime area) consists of Ruzyně, Liboc, Veleslavín, Vokovice, Dejvice, Střešovice, and parts of Břevnov, Sedlec, and Bubeneč a Hradčany.

A primarily residential area of single family homes with gardens, Prague 6 is a favourite among expats because of its proximity to several diplomatic missions and international schools. One popular neighbourhood is Dejvice, which has affordable renovated apartments and houses, shops, restaurants, schools, ministries, sports centres, and good public transportation.

Střešovice exudes a village atmosphere with its green, quiet streets. Because of its many famous residents, Střešovice has come to be known as the Czech Republic’s version of Beverly Hills.

The expensive neighbourhoods of Orechovka and Hanspaulka have elegant houses and villas near parks. There are few shops and restaurants here, though, and residents need cars to get around.

The Prague Ruzyně Airport is at the edge of the city. It is the country’s largest airport and considered one of the best in Eastern and Central Europe.
