Arguably Mumbai's most expensive and upscale neighbourhood, Malabar Hill's (prime area) elevation provides it a commanding view along the entire stretch of Marine Drive, all the way to Nariman Point.

Developed at the turn of the last century, this lovely hilltop area is home to much of Mumbai's old wealth, CEO's of major multinationals, business people and elite professionals. It is famous for its Walkeshwar Temple, and Banganga Tank, attached to the temple, Mumbai's oldest surviving structure. There are also some parks here, including the Hanging Gardens of Mumbai and the Priyadarshini Park.
