Sydney’s Lower North Shore consists of a cluster of affluent suburbs along the northern shore of Sydney Harbour. This region includes the posh harbour neighbourhoods of Hunter’s Hill, Kirribilli and Mosman, the cityscape of North Sydney, and the low rise residential and business areas of St Leonards and Crows Nest.
North Sydney is its main business district, which transforms into a nightlife centre. The shopping district includes the suburbs of Chatswood and Northbridge. The North Sydney Oval, the region’s largest cricket ground, is in the Lower North Shore’s St Leonard’s Park.
