Monaco’s highest point is in the ward of Les Révoires, on a pathway called Chemin des Révoires on the slope of a mountain. From its steep incline is a stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea and the Rock of Monaco.
On top of a cliff here is the Jardin Exotique, a beautiful botanical garden with grottoes, bridges, paths and hundreds of varieties of plants from all over the world, including a large collection of cacti of all shapes and sizes from Africa and Latin America. At the base of the cliff is the Observatory Grotto, a cave full of stalactites and stalagmites. The Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology exhibits prehistoric specimens found in the Grimaldi Caves in Italy.
