Kirribilli (a prime area) is one of the oldest suburbs in Australia. It is a blend of modern high-rise apartment blocks, old Victorian terraced houses, and the official residence of Australia’s Prime Minister, Kirribilli House.

Originally a community of bohemians and the art crowd in the 1960s, the affluent suburb now attracts families, professionals, retirees and pensioners. Kirribilli has several expensive residential properties, including luxury apartments along the quiet and exclusive Kirribilli Avenue. Public housing in other areas also exists, including the Greenway Flats development.
