Fuencarral is Madrid’s largest district. Within it is the vast mount El Pardo, and the Soto Viñuelas park (where the British School is located). It includes the old town of Fuencarral, which has been settled for more than 800 years, the town of El Pardo, and the residential developments of Peñagrande, Barrio del Pilar, and Valdemarín. There are several major industrial and institutional zones.
