House prices in Spain: average price (Euro per sq. m.)
Economics Team | June, 15, 2018
House prices in Spain. Banco de España publishes a quarterly time-series of the average price per square metre of open-market appraised housing in Spain. The geographical disaggregation has been estimated using provincial data published by the Ministerio de Fomento, taking as weights the number of houses in each province according to the INE's Population and Housing Census. It stretches back to 1995. TINSA España releases a monthly house price index based from their own valuations. It extends back to 2001. Spanish web portals often produce statistics which are usually more up-to-date. Portals with statistics include Facilismo, Kyero, Fotocasa and Idealista.

Quarterly Change in house prices
|% change over a quarter (QoQ)|
This table shows the change in house prices during a single quarter.
The figures are not adjusted for inflation, so may overstate house price rises (or understate declines).
Four quarter's house price changes may NOT sum to the annual (year-on-year) change in house prices, for statistical reasons.
