House prices in Germany. There are several sources of German house price data. BulwienGesa AG publishes yearly prices of owner-occupied apartments based on a survey covering 125 German cities. The time-series started in 1975. Hypoport releases monthly house price index based on home loans transaction data generated on the EUROPACE platform. It began in August 2005. The European Central Bank publishes monthly, quarterly, bi-monthly and yearly price indices for all European countries, including Germany.

Four quarter's house price changes may NOT sum to the annual (year-on-year) change in house prices, for statistical reasons.
