There are 2 sources of house price statistics for France: a) The National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) releases a quarterly index of house prices for Metropolitan France. It started in 1996. b) Data on prices per square metre of apartments in Paris are published by the La Chambre des Notaires de Paris. The series began in 1991.
