Property prices in Belgium: house price index, existing dwellings
Economics Team | January, 01, 2018
Belgian house prices. Data on dwelling prices in Belgium is relatively rich. Statistics Belgium releases quarterly, semi-annual and annual property total sales, total price, and average price data for four classifications of dwellings- 1) ordinary residential houses; 2) villas, bungalows, country homes; 3) apartments, flats, studios; and 4) building land. The time-series stretches back to 1985. Stadim, an Antwerp-based real estate consultancy agency, publishes annual indices for houses, apartments, building and agricultural plots in Belgium, with data starting in 1960.

Quarterly Change in house prices
|% change over a quarter (QoQ)|
This table shows the change in house prices during a single quarter.
The figures are not adjusted for inflation, so may overstate house price rises (or understate declines).
Four quarter's house price changes may NOT sum to the annual (year-on-year) change in house prices, for statistical reasons.
